UN Tourism Launches WhatsApp-Based Courses to Enhance Hospitality Skills in Spain
The World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) has introduced a new digital course on hospitality, delivered entirely through WhatsApp. This initiative is designed to support professionals, entrepreneurs, and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in the hospitality and tourism sector. The course, first launched in Spain, aims to build practical skills in business management, customer service, and the promotion of hospitality and tourism businesses. In partnership with Fundación Mahou San Miguel, the program offers 2,000 free training places to Spanish hospitality professionals. The course is structured around short lessons that cover various aspects of management, digital marketing, customer loyalty, and sustainability, with a focus on local products and experiences. Participants who complete all modules will receive a joint certificate from UN Tourism and Fundación Mahou San Miguel.
