Rachel May Murphy, 88, Remembered for Her Community Contributions
Rachel May Murphy, aged 88, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026, at Boston Medical Center South. Born and raised in Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton High School and later attended secretarial school in Boston. Rachel had a successful career as an executive secretary at Sheraton Corporation and later as a legal secretary at a law firm in Brockton. Known for her culinary skills, she hosted exquisite dinner parties and was passionate about knitting and gardening. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and a brother, with a Celebration of Life Service scheduled for May 2.
