Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Fellow Highlights Mentorship and Public Policy Journey
Angela Nguyen, a former team member at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, has announced her enrollment in the Master in Public Policy program at the University of California, Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy. Nguyen credits her three years at the Carnegie Endowment for providing invaluable support and experience, which she states were crucial for her academic advancement. During her tenure, she contributed to the Europe Program, the Global Order and Institutions Program, and the Office of the Senior Vice President. Her work involved various initiatives, working groups, partnerships, and conferences. Nguyen specifically acknowledged the leadership and mentorship of Daniel Baer, Stewart Patrick, Sophia Besch, PhD, Alper Coşkun, Garo Paylan, and Sarah Yerkes, emphasizing the positive impact they had on her professional development. This transition marks a significant step in her career, focusing on deepening her skills in public policy analysis.
