Instagram Bans Users for Creepy Content with Meta Glasses
Instagram has begun banning users who create 'creepy' content using Meta Glasses. This action follows reports of users secretly recording people without their consent, often for prank videos that verge on harassment. Meta, which owns Instagram, has implemented software updates to disable the camera if the recording indicator light is tampered with. Despite these measures, a cottage industry has emerged to 'jailbreak' the glasses, allowing users to bypass these restrictions.
