Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Appoints Sanjay Jamuar as CEO of New International Arm
Sanjay Jamuar has been appointed as the first Chief Executive Officer of Delhi Metro International Limited (DMIL), the newly established international division of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). This move is part of DMRC's strategy to expand its global presence in metro rail projects and operations. DMIL is tasked with providing consultancy and advisory services to metro authorities and governments, leveraging DMRC's extensive experience in metro construction and operations. Jamuar, a former Indian Railways Traffic Service (IRTS) officer, brings a wealth of experience from his work with Indian Railways, DMRC, and various international transit systems. His appointment marks a significant step in DMRC's efforts to position itself as a global leader in urban transit solutions.
