University of Central Missouri and University of Seoul Deepen International Partnership
The University of Central Missouri (UCM) recently hosted a delegation from the University of Seoul (UOS), a public research university in Korea, to discuss expanding their existing partnership. The two institutions initiated a student exchange agreement in 2008, which was renewed last year. UCM is one of 29 U.S. partner universities for UOS, and UOS students are eligible for UCM’s Global Partner Scholarship program, covering non-resident tuition and fees. During the visit, UCM President Roger Best praised the quality of UOS students, noting their academic excellence and positive contribution to campus life. Discussions focused on deepening the collaboration through potential faculty exchanges and research initiatives. Both universities also shared updates on academic programs and technological advancements, including UCM's investments in virtual reality and artificial intelligence, and UOS's recent launch of its College of Artificial Intelligence.
