Michael Jordan's Heartfelt Gesture for Former High School Staffer in Hospice Care
Michael Jordan, the legendary basketball player, recently made a touching gesture towards a former staffer from his high school, Laney High School, located in Wilmington, North Carolina. The staffer, known as Ms. Etta, is currently in hospice care and had expressed a wish to reconnect with Jordan, whom she remembered fondly from her time working as a transportation coordinator at the school. According to a Facebook post by Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, Ms. Etta's wish was to hug Jordan again, as she reflected on her cherished memories. After several attempts to contact him, a LifeCare social worker named Wendy received a call from Jordan himself. Wendy facilitated a FaceTime call between Jordan and Ms. Etta, allowing them to reminisce and share a heartfelt moment. This interaction brought tears to those present and created a lasting memory for Ms. Etta's family.
