Investigation Underway After Passenger Dies on Southwest Flight
A 22-year-old man, Rain McMillan Walmsey, died on a Southwest Airlines flight from Dallas to Los Angeles. The incident occurred when Walmsey experienced a medical emergency mid-flight and became unresponsive. Despite multiple CPR attempts by crew members and passengers, and the presence of emergency responders upon landing at Los Angeles International Airport, Walmsey was pronounced dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County medical examiner's office has identified Walmsey but has not yet determined the cause of death, leaving the case open for further investigation.
