UCF Graduation Speaker Faces Backlash for AI Remarks

Caulfield described AI as the 'next industrial revolution,' which was met with boos and a shout of 'AI sucks!' from an attendee. Despite the initial backlash, Caulfield's subsequent comment that AI was not a factor in our lives a few years ago received cheers. The incident highlights the mixed public sentiment towards AI, contrasting with the positive reception of a similar speech by Nvidia founder Jensen Huang at Carnegie Mellon.
