Singapore Airlines Expands Australian Network with Increased Flights and Premium Economy
Singapore Airlines has announced a series of enhancements to its Australian network, set to take effect during the northern summer and winter of 2026. The airline will introduce a Premium Economy Class cabin on one of its four daily Brisbane services starting November 1, 2026. Additionally, from December 3, 2026, to January 31, 2027, the frequency of flights between Singapore and Adelaide will increase from 10 to 12 times weekly. Cairns will also see an increase in service, moving to daily flights from December 1, 2026, with a Boeing 737-8. During the Northern Summer 2026 season, an additional weekly service will be added to the Cairns route using an Airbus A350-900, operating five times weekly from July 6 to September 27, 2026. These changes are part of Singapore Airlines' strategy to align capacity with demand and provide more options for travelers.
