Eastern Shipbuilding Group Delivers New Ferry to Fisher Island Community
Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. has successfully delivered the vehicle-passenger ferry FALCON to the Fisher Island Community Association (FICA). The FALCON is designed to provide reliable transportation between Fisher Island and mainland Miami, enhancing the community's ferry fleet. The vessel was constructed at ESG's Allanton facility and incorporates modern systems, enhanced passenger accommodations, and efficient vehicle transportation capabilities. The delivery marks a milestone in ESG's 50th year of shipbuilding excellence, reflecting the company's commitment to delivering high-quality vessels that serve communities across the United States.
