Prince Harry Faces Defamation Lawsuit from African Charity Sentebale
Prince Harry is being sued for defamation by Sentebale, a charity he co-founded in Africa to honor his late mother, Princess Diana. The lawsuit, filed in London's High Court, accuses Harry and his friend Mark Dyer of libel or slander following their departure as patrons last year. Sentebale, which supports young people living with HIV in Botswana and Lesotho, claims that a coordinated media campaign has caused operational disruption and reputational harm. The legal action marks a reversal for Harry, who has previously been a claimant in privacy suits against British tabloids. Disagreements within the charity emerged over fundraising strategies, leading to Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho stepping down as patrons.
