Oniverse Founder Sandro Veronesi Survives Plane Crash Unharmed in France
Sandro Veronesi, the founder and chairman of Oniverse, survived a plane crash in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department of France on April 24. Veronesi, an aviation enthusiast, was flying a single-engine touring aircraft when it encountered technical difficulties, leading to an abnormal descent. Both Veronesi and a 56-year-old male passenger activated the aircraft's emergency ballistic parachute, which deployed successfully, slowing their fall and saving their lives. Emergency services found the two men outside the cockpit with severe back pain due to the deceleration. The French gendarmerie, engaged in a nearby training flight, observed the aircraft's trajectory and alerted authorities, facilitating a timely rescue. Oniverse confirmed Veronesi's good health following the incident.
