The production is reportedly funded by a nonprofit, with sponsorship from major corporations such as Boeing, Toyota, Shell, Royal Caribbean Group, and United Airlines, all of which are regulated by Duffy's department. The involvement of these sponsors has raised questions about potential conflicts of interest and the appropriateness of a cabinet secretary engaging in such activities during their tenure.
