Buccellati Unveils Immersive 'Aquae Mirabiles' Installation at Milan Design Week
Buccellati, a renowned Milan-based jeweler, is celebrating its Caviar Collection with an immersive installation titled 'Aquae Mirabiles' during Milan Design Week. The collection is distinguished by its silver surface adorned with handcrafted microspheres, reminiscent of caviar. The installation, curated by Federica Sala and designed by Balich Wonder Studio, features the collaboration of artist Luke Edward Hall. Hall's work is praised for its ability to transform complex concepts into evocative visual experiences, making the history of Italian caviar accessible to a broad audience. The exhibition aims to weave together myth, history, and fantasy, immersing visitors in a narrative that explores the origins of Italian caviar. The installation is set in a structure resembling a water theater, where visitors can experience a submerged world inspired by Atlantis.
