El Al Expands Dreamliner Fleet to Boost Long-Haul Capacity
El Al has announced plans to expand its Dreamliner fleet by exercising an option to purchase six additional Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with the potential to acquire up to six more in the future. This expansion aims to increase the airline's long-haul capacity and improve seat availability. The Dreamliner fleet, which currently consists of 17 aircraft, is expected to grow to 28 by the end of the decade, with the possibility of reaching 34 aircraft beyond 2030. The new aircraft will include upgrades to the larger 787-10 model, capable of seating up to 310 passengers.
