Hot and Humid Monday with Storms Possible in Philadelphia
Philadelphia is experiencing another hot and humid day as the heat wave continues across the region. Afternoon temperatures are expected to peak at 92°F (33°C), with 'feels like' temperatures reaching up to 96°F (36°C). Meteorologist Bill Henley from NBC10 First Alert Weather reports a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, which may extend into the early evening. A cold front is forecast to pass through Tuesday night, bringing an end to the heat wave by Wednesday, with temperatures dropping to a high of 88°F (31°C) and less humid conditions. Sunshine and moderate humidity are expected on Thursday, with highs around 90°F (32°C).
