San Francisco Pitbull Rescued After Two Days in Railway Tunnel
A two-year-old pitbull named Roo was rescued after spending two days trapped in a San Francisco railway tunnel. Roo, who had run away from home, was initially spotted by Caltrain operators who feared he had been struck by a train. However, upon noticing movement the following day, police officers entered the tunnel and successfully rescued the dog. Roo, who was microchipped, has since been reunited with his owner. This incident highlights the challenges and dangers faced by pets that go missing in urban environments.
