FDIC Seeks Chief for Least Cost Modeling and Valuations in Resolutions Division
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is actively recruiting for a Chief of Least Cost Modeling and Valuations within its Division of Resolutions and Receiverships (DRR). This senior-level position, classified as CM-1101-00, is open to current FDIC permanent employees and offers a salary range of $174,589 to $277,500 per year. The role can be based in Dallas, TX, New York City, NY, or Washington, D.C. The primary responsibility of this Chief will be to develop, maintain, and apply the Least Cost Test to all resolution transactions, serving as a project leader and manager within the Resolution Strategy Branch. The incumbent will also be instrumental in developing policy and overseeing resolutions of failing institutions nationwide, as well as managing various related projects. This involves analyzing proposals to mitigate risk to the insurance fund and evaluating new developments in complex asset types and financial risks.
