Virginia Liquor Store Introduces New Cocktails After Raccoon Incident
A Virginia liquor store has introduced a series of new cocktails inspired by a raccoon that went viral after breaking into the store and consuming alcohol. The incident occurred on November 29, when a raccoon entered a Virginia ABC store in Ashland, Hanover County, and consumed several bottles of liquor before passing out in the bathroom. The raccoon, dubbed the 'trashed panda,' became an internet sensation, even being impersonated on 'Saturday Night Live.' In response, Virginia ABC created three cocktails: the Rye Rascal Sour, Trash Panda Old Fashioned, and Midnight Gin Fizz, each featuring unique ingredients inspired by the raccoon's antics. The raccoon was unharmed and released back into the wild after the incident.
