State Funding Boosts Lycoming Career and Technology Center to Address Workforce Needs
The Lycoming Career and Technology Center has received an additional $25,000 in state funding, thanks to the efforts of state Rep. Jamie Flick and state Rep. Joe Hamm. This funding is part of a broader initiative to enhance workforce development and education in the region. The focus is on creating a diverse workforce capable of filling a wide range of jobs and careers. The initiative challenges the traditional notion that a liberal arts college education is the only path for young people entering the workforce.
