The monologue, which aired on ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', included a joke about First Lady Melania Trump, leading to demands from President Trump and the First Lady for Kimmel's dismissal. The FCC, led by Chairman Brendan Carr, is considering an early license review, although the timing of the review is reportedly not directly linked to the monologue. The FCC has previously criticized Disney's diversity programs, and the review could examine potential race- and gender-based discrimination issues.
