Senator Schumer Secures $1.6 Million Federal Investment for Keuka College Rural Community Outpatient Clinic
U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer announced the opening of the new Rural Community Outpatient Clinic at Keuka College, following his successful push to secure $1.6 million in federal funding. The clinic aims to address the limited healthcare resources in Yates County, New York, by providing various services including nursing care, occupational therapy, social work counseling, athletic training, physical therapy, and wellness coaching. Senator Schumer had advocated for this funding through the FY2024 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies budget bill.
