Queen Camilla Supports Aspiring Journalists with New Scholarship Initiative
Queen Camilla has announced the launch of the Queen Camilla Future of Journalism Awards, aimed at supporting young journalists aged 18 to 30. The initiative, backed by the Journalists’ Charity, offers 25 winners a cash prize of up to £2,500, along with career mentoring. The awards are designed to help young journalists invest in their career development, covering costs such as training, equipment, travel, or accommodation. The winners will also have the opportunity to attend a ceremony with industry leaders. Applications are open throughout August, with winners to be announced in September. James Brindle, the charity's chief executive, expressed gratitude for Queen Camilla's support, highlighting the importance of nurturing new talent in journalism.
