Rodale Institute Launches Campaign to Transition 10 Million Acres to Organic Farming by 2030
The Rodale Institute has initiated the 10 Million Acre Solution, a $139 million campaign aimed at converting 10 million acres of U.S. farmland to organic and regenerative organic agriculture by 2030. Announced at the Institute's Annual Organic Field Day in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, this initiative is part of a new five-year Strategic Plan. The plan seeks to scale the adoption of organic farming through research, education, and strategic partnerships. A key component of the campaign is the $24 million Center for Regenerative Organic Innovation, which will serve as a hub for farmer education and collaboration. The campaign is driven by the increasing consumer demand for organic products and the anticipated transition of over 95 million acres of U.S. farmland to new ownership in the coming decades.
