Nearly 40 Pro-Life Groups Urge Trump Administration to Cut Off Planned Parenthood Federal Funding
Nearly 40 pro-life and faith-based organizations have sent a letter to key members of the Trump administration, including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Attorney General Todd Blanche, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Kelly Loeffler. The letter, spearheaded by Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins, calls for the administration to finalize and expand an audit launched in January by the SBA into whether 38 Planned Parenthood centers fraudulently received $88 million in COVID Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans despite being ineligible. The groups argue that there is mounting evidence that Planned Parenthood has allegedly defrauded taxpayers, violated federal laws, and abused public trust. They are urging the administration to strip Planned Parenthood of its qualified vendor status, which would effectively cut off all federal funding.
