Ten Dogs Rescued in Stratford Animal Cruelty Case, Owner Arrested
Stratford Animal Care & Control has rescued ten dogs, including two adult dogs and eight puppies, from a backyard in Stratford, Connecticut. All ten animals were found to be suffering from serious medical conditions. Following their rescue, the dogs were immediately transported to an emergency veterinarian for comprehensive examination and treatment. The owner of the dogs has been arrested and charged with cruelty to animals. Due to the ongoing investigation, the rescued dogs will not be available for adoption at this time. Stratford Animal Care & Control has indicated that while the dogs are expected to recover from their conditions, the organization is seeking donations from the public to help cover the costs associated with their long-term care and rehabilitation.
