Texas A Christi Theater Student Seeks Kidney Donor to Resume Studies and Performance Career
Andrew Cloe, a musical theater student at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, is urgently seeking a kidney donor. Cloe, who should be starting his senior year, is currently in his hometown of Temple, Texas, undergoing dialysis due to P-ANCA vasculitis, a rare autoimmune disorder diagnosed in 2022. The condition attacked his lungs and kidneys, with his kidney function steadily declining over the past four years until recently failing. His fellow students and professors at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi are actively supporting his search for a living donor, spreading awareness within the community. Cloe's dream is to return to the stage, a passion he discovered in 2019 after transitioning from sports.
