Excavator Topples During House Demolition in Batman Province, Turkey; No One Injured
In the village of Gökçepınar, Batman, a demolition accident occurred during the dismantling of a derelict stone house. The incident involved a tracked excavator that lost balance due to ground subsidence and debris slippage, causing it to topple over onto stone walls. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported, although the machinery sustained material damage. The accident caused panic among nearby residents and the operator, but relief followed as no one was harmed. Efforts are underway to remove the overturned machinery from the site.
