Maryland Man Found Dead in Cuyahoga River Days After Attending Browns Game in Cleveland
Phoenix Philips, a 24-year-old Maryland man, was found dead in the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland on Tuesday afternoon. Philips had been reported missing to Cleveland police last Friday after attending the Steelers-Browns game. According to NBC affiliate WKYC, police had previously described Philips’ disappearance as 'concerning.' Cleveland Missing, a social media organization, stated that Philips was in Cleveland for the game held last Thursday. His mother, Amanda Philips, informed WEWS that her son was a Steelers fan and the father of a 2-year-old boy. The circumstances surrounding his death are currently under investigation.
