Atlanta News First to Host Georgia US Senate Debate Between Ossoff and Collins
Atlanta News First has announced that it will host an exclusive debate between U.S. Senate candidates, incumbent Sen. Jon Ossoff and challenger U.S. Rep. Mike Collins, on October 8, 2026. The debate will be held at Assembly Atlanta, a state-of-the-art studio facility, and will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. on Atlanta News First and Gray Media television stations across Georgia. The event aims to provide voters with direct access to the candidates as they discuss key issues facing Georgia and the nation. The debate will be moderated by Atlanta News First anchor Rick Folbaum, with a panel of professional journalists posing questions to the candidates. Pre- and post-debate programs will also be produced to offer comprehensive coverage.
