Boston Named Finalist for 2028 Democratic National Convention
Boston has been selected as one of three finalists to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, moving the city closer to securing the major political event. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) announced that Boston, Denver, and Philadelphia have advanced to the next stage, which involves an extensive contracts and logistics process. This decision narrows the field from five cities, with Atlanta and Chicago no longer under consideration.
