NYC Career Thief Shaquan Seth Arrested for Alleged Target Candle Theft Weeks After Release
Shaquan Seth, a 40-year-old individual with nearly 150 prior arrests, was apprehended on Monday for allegedly attempting to steal approximately $800 worth of Threshold candles from a Target store on Jackson Avenue in Queens. This incident occurred just weeks after his release from custody. Prosecutors stated that Seth has a history of repeated thefts, including several at the same Target location, where he previously stole $600 in candles in June. Seth was charged with third-degree burglary and petty larceny. The Queens District Attorney's office requested he be held without bail, but Judge Jennifer Saint-Preux set bail at $10,000 cash or bond. Seth is currently being held at Rikers Island.
