NRA-ILA Launches 'Gun Bus Battleground Tour' to Mobilize Gun Owners for 2026 Midterm Elections
The National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) has initiated its first-ever national 'Gun Bus Battleground Tour,' a two-month, 13-state campaign designed to energize and mobilize gun owners ahead of the November 2026 midterm elections. The NRA-branded tour bus departed from NRA headquarters on August 27th and will travel across key battleground states, serving as a central point for pro-Second Amendment events. NRA-ILA grassroots staff and volunteers will engage with voters at various locations, including gun stores, manufacturing facilities, college football tailgates, and community festivals. Their objective is to distribute informational materials and encourage support for candidates who advocate for the right to keep and bear arms.
