Two Men Sought After 17-Year-Old Fatally Shot in East New York, Brooklyn
Police in East New York, Brooklyn, are searching for two gunmen following the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy, Ahmir Jordan, outside a restaurant on New Lots Avenue. The incident occurred Wednesday night, just after 8:20 p.m., during a dispute between two men. Jordan was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed from inside the restaurant around 1 a.m. Additionally, a 35-year-old man sustained a graze wound to his right arm from glass, believed to have been inside the restaurant when the shots were fired. The two suspects, described as wearing all black with blue face masks, fled the scene. Detectives have not yet determined a motive for the shooting, and police stated that Jordan had no prior interactions with law enforcement. Separately, less than half a mile away, two teenage girls, aged 13 and 15, were stabbed around 8:30 p.m. on Van Siclen Avenue, though police believe these incidents are unrelated.
