Van Plunges into Pacific Ocean Near Malibu, Dogs Rescued
A van plunged into the Pacific Ocean near Malibu, California, along Highway 1 near Deer Creek, resulting in the rescue of two dogs. The incident occurred on a Saturday when the vehicle veered off the road and crashed into multiple rocks before entering the surf. The driver managed to escape the vehicle with one dog, while the second dog remained trapped inside. Firefighters and California State Parks Lifeguards responded to the scene, working together to safely free the trapped canine. Footage from the scene showed waves impacting the wreckage as responders worked to extract the dog. According to the Ventura County Fire Department, neither dog appeared to be injured, and the driver sustained minor injuries, for which they were transported to a local hospital.
