Hannah Einbinder Among Jewish Figures Defending Mark Ruffalo in Israel-Palestine Debate
Actress and writer Hannah Einbinder, who is Jewish, has publicly supported actor Mark Ruffalo amidst controversy surrounding his comments on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Einbinder was a signatory on a letter, alongside filmmaker Joel Coen and over 180 other Jewish figures, that defended Ruffalo against accusations of antisemitism. This letter emerged after Avi Issacharoff, co-creator of the Netflix series 'Fauda,' criticized Ruffalo for using terms like 'genocide' in relation to the conflict and the proposed Paramount Skydance acquisition of Warner Bros.
