Users can also purchase add-ons like Sports Extra, Entertainment/Hollywood Extra, Heartland Extra, and News Extra for an additional cost, ranging from $1 to $3 depending on the pass duration. This initiative aims to cater to viewers who prefer short-term access to specific content, such as live sports events or particular shows, without committing to a monthly subscription. Sling TV is also promoting a 20% discount for those who prepay for the entire five-month college football season with their Essentials & Select + Sports Extra plan, which starts at $49.99/month.
