SystImmune's BL-M14D1 Shows Promising Results in Small-Cell Lung Cancer Phase 1 Trial
SystImmune, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company, has announced promising Phase 1 trial results for its drug BL-M14D1, targeting small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) and neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC). The trial, presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2026 Annual Meeting, involved 127 patients with advanced solid tumors, including 87 with SCLC. The drug demonstrated a 62% confirmed response rate in heavily pre-treated SCLC patients, with a median progression-free survival of 7.2 months. The study highlighted manageable safety profiles, with hematologic adverse events being the most common. SystImmune plans to advance BL-M14D1 into global registrational studies for first-line extensive-stage SCLC.
