Disney Cancels Adventure Cruise Due to Technical Issues, Offers Compensation
Disney Cruise Line has canceled the current voyage of the Disney Adventure due to a technical issue that prevented the ship from departing its homeport in Singapore. Guests were informed of the cancellation after boarding and spending one night on the vessel. The cruise was part of a series of short trips to nowhere, scheduled to sail from May 7 to May 11, 2026. Disney has apologized for the inconvenience and is offering a full refund, a 50% discount on a future cruise, and a complimentary one-night stay at a local hotel. The company is also covering flight change fees and providing up to $500 per stateroom for other expenses.
