University of Cincinnati Law School Renamed Following $43.2 Million Donation to Enhance Programs
The University of Cincinnati College of Law has been renamed the Donald P. Klekamp College of Law after receiving a $43.2 million commitment from the Klekamp family. This substantial donation is intended to honor Donald Klekamp, an alumnus and retired founding partner of the law firm Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL. The funds will be used to enhance student scholarships, experiential learning opportunities, and student success initiatives. Additionally, the donation will support the Corporate Law Center by funding an endowed chair, the Corporate Law Symposium, and the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic. Dean Haider Ala Hamoudi emphasized that the gift will transform the college's capabilities, allowing it to compete for top students and elevate its programs to national prominence.
