Maryland is experiencing a First Alert Weather Day due to the likelihood of heavy rainfall, localized flooding, and potential thunderstorms with gusty winds. According to CBS News Baltimore, multiple rounds of rain are forecasted throughout the day and into the evening, with a final wave possible overnight. Areas receiving repeated rainfall are at the highest risk of flooding, particularly in urban and poor drainage zones. Late afternoon and evening storms may bring damaging winds as upper-level winds could be dragged to the surface. Temperatures are expected to remain in the upper 70s to lower 80s due to persistent cloud cover and rain.
