Strategic Partnership to Enhance Sovereign AI Infrastructure in Africa
Amini, a sovereign AI infrastructure company, has announced a strategic partnership with electronics manufacturer Foxconn and Bull, a leader in high-performance computing and AI, to advance AI infrastructure across Africa and the Global South. This collaboration aims to provide governments, telecom operators, financial institutions, and energy companies with access to industrial-grade AI data center infrastructure that can be locally acquired, installed, and operated. The partnership marks Foxconn's first dedicated infrastructure initiative in African markets, establishing Amini as its strategic partner in the region. The initiative is supported by Bull, which brings systems integration capabilities to the project. The modular AI data center infrastructure is designed to operate in variable power environments and can be deployed in under 12 months, allowing institutions to expand capacity over time while maintaining data sovereignty.
