Ohio Republican Max Miller Faces Resignation Calls Amid Abuse Allegations
Max Miller, a Republican representative from Ohio, is under pressure to resign following allegations of domestic abuse. The calls for his resignation intensified after Bernie Moreno, Miller's ex-father-in-law and a GOP senator, publicly stated that Miller is unfit for office. Miller has denied the allegations, which include accusations of violence towards his ex-wife and child, and has filed a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife. The congressional ethics committee has launched an investigation into the allegations. Despite the mounting pressure, Miller has vowed not to resign, citing support from President Trump and his commitment to his constituents.
