AMCOM Showcases Advanced Manufacturing Initiatives at Army Summit
The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) highlighted its progress in advanced manufacturing during the Army Materiel Command Advanced Manufacturing Summit at Redstone Arsenal. Lisa Hirschler, AMCOM's Director of Business Transformation, presented the command's efforts to integrate cutting-edge production technologies to enhance Army readiness and support modernization goals. The initiatives include expanding certified parts production, building manufacturing capacity, and refining Army-wide policy. Recent successes include field-printable replacement parts and the qualification of titanium components.
