Agricultural Exhibition in Andhra Pradesh Promotes Modern Farming Techniques
In Vuyyuru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, an agricultural exhibition was inaugurated by Agriculture Department Special Chief Secretary Budithi Rajasekhar. The event, part of the 4th State Conference of the Andhra Pradesh Koulu Rythu Sangham (Tenant Farmers’ Association), showcased a variety of modern agricultural inputs and technologies. These included high-yielding seed varieties, fertilizers, pesticides, and machinery such as drones. The exhibition aimed to encourage farmers, especially tenant farmers, to adopt modern technology and scientific practices to enhance productivity and income. A photo exhibition highlighting key milestones in the history of farmers' movements in India was also featured. The event included a rally by farmers and tenant farmers, and cultural performances by Praja Natya Mandali artists, adding vibrancy to the occasion.
