Tucson Faces Major Heat Risk with Storm Chances Building Midweek
Tucson, Arizona, is experiencing unseasonably high temperatures, with a major heat risk expected today as highs reach 105°F (40.6°C). Patchy blowing dust may reduce visibility on roads, and isolated storms could bring heavy rain and localized flash flooding, particularly to areas west and south of the city. Drier air from the east is expected to limit storm activity in Cochise County. Starting Monday, daily storm chances will increase, with cooler temperatures in the 90s forecast later in the week. The seven-day outlook includes a mix of sunny and cloudy conditions, with precipitation chances ranging from 20% to 60% depending on the day.
