Connecticut Man Sentenced to 15 Years for Fatal DUI Crash in New Hampshire
Dylan Galland, a 49-year-old man from Connecticut, has been sentenced to up to 15 years in prison for a DUI crash that resulted in the death of Ashley Wendt, a 25-year-old woman from Washington, New Hampshire. The incident occurred on December 5, when Galland, driving under the influence, crossed the center line and collided head-on with Wendt's vehicle. Galland pleaded guilty to DUI-related negligent homicide and received the maximum sentence. He may have his sentence reduced by one year if he completes substance-related programming. Additionally, Galland's driving license has been revoked indefinitely in New Hampshire.
