Representative Guy Reschenthaler's Attendance at 'Trumpapalooza' Convention Undetermined
Representative Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA 14) has not confirmed his attendance at the upcoming 'Trumpapalooza' convention in Dallas. This event, described by RNC chair Joe Gruters as a 'Trumpapalooza,' is a midterm national convention created by President Trump to rally his supporters ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. It is an unusual timing for such a convention, as typical party conventions occur every four years to determine a presidential nominee. House members are reportedly requested to pay a minimum of $25,000 to attend, with better packages priced closer to $100,000. However, members of the NRCC’s Patriot program, designated for vulnerable incumbents, are not required to pay the $25,000 fee. While over 100 Republican House members and candidates are expected, the event is also open to the public, leading some to view it more as a Trump rally than a traditional convention. President Trump is scheduled to speak on both nights, with Vice President JD Vance delivering a keynote address.
