UW-Oshkosh Partners with Peruvian University to Enhance Academic Collaboration
The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh has entered into a partnership with Universidad Católica de Santa María in Arequipa, Peru, to foster academic and cultural collaboration. This partnership will be formalized through a memorandum of understanding, which aims to establish a framework for potential cooperation between the two institutions. The collaboration is expected to lead to faculty and student exchanges, academic partnerships, and research projects, particularly in the fields of nursing and health professions education. This initiative builds on existing ties between the universities, with previous experiential learning opportunities in Peru focusing on global health and cultural understanding. UW-Oshkosh Chancellor Manohar Singh, who has a personal connection to the project, has been actively involved in discussions to support broader academic partnerships and global engagement.
